The Legend & Butterfly

There is plenty to criticize about this movie, but it is an epic tale of conquest and love. The characters are strange and quite unique. It was refreshing to watch the story unfold between the two lovers. The quite strange sensibilities of Japanese culture is on full display also. So much nuance and mystery is woven into the very unpredictable plot. I was quite riveted to it from start to finish. I highly recommend it.
