This ended up being a really subpar boring nonsensical low budget western that not even a couple weird scenes could save. The highlights if you could call them that were the gun trick and the body surfing scene.

Where would this movie be without Gabby Hayes? He is the only one giving these Lone Star Productions any flavor as the rest of the characters are just tame. Even John Wayne. It's amazing how much a director can mess up and make someone who is such a natural screen hero like John Wayne into a insignificant guy as he is here.
