For what should have been a straight forward crime action-er with a minor sci-fi twist, this one has a whole butt load of ancillary crap going on. It's a two and a half hour b-movie movie in a genre where, unless you're a Scorsese, you've got you're audiences attention for a sharp 100 minutes max. There were too many ideas, many of them good, and somebody just couldn't choose which to cut and which to keep. It's a shame, because that leads me to believe someone had a lot of passion for this.

This movie has dozens of good highly polished scenes. But the sequence of events did not make a coherent story. The plot and storytelling were pathetic. The acting performances were uneven. Good soundtrack and reasonably good production quality. I enjoyed bits and pieces, but overall it was a very disappointing story that lacked all credibility.

Points for the license plate on the unmarked FBI car (spoilers: it was FBI). Michael Pitt was pretty entertaining. Also, did they add Sharlto Copley in post, or just cut any scenes that explained his characters presence? And what was the point of the pills??

Wasted potential. Plot was incoherent and silly but it had good characters in Ramirez and Pitt. Too long, too ridiculous. Ramirez and Pitt deserves better.

Michael Pitt is so good in this. I was about to stop the movie when he appeared. I'm bummed that everything else about this production is unable to rise to his level. Two and a half hours was too long. The producers could have cut a half hour and made the movie actually good. That wouldn't have improved the side characters' acting or the story's plot holes but the movie would move swiftly enough to gloss over these flaws. The draggy pacing invites you to zoom in on the mistakes.

Plot makes no sense. Characters are annoying. There is no chemistry between anyone in the 'crew'. If this movie was like 90 minutes it would be below average, but it takes 2.5h and it still goes nowhere. Please do not watch this even if you want to watch it sarcastically

Turned it off. The movie makes no sense. If the director had a vision he wanted to share with us, I did not get it at all.

Interesting premise but it could have been much better with some tighter editing. It's also a bit odd that the protagonists are basically criminals and I'm supposed to root for them? It's all a bit odd.

Some of the worst dialogue I've heard in a film in quite awhile. Michael Pitt is usually good, but here he tries way too hard to be a cool, edgy bad guy. It comes off as cringeworthy and hammy. The main actor's monotone acting also left something to be desired.

A great concept and somewhat relevant story for our times, that probably could have been executed better. The performances are okay but all involved have been better. It's not a terrible film, although it's also not a film that you'd wanna watch again. It's fine.
