Binnie Barnes was criminally under-used as the gold digger! Besides that The Last Coupon was a alright Leslie Fuller comedy. One pattern that seems to appear is that Fuller was at his peak in the early years of the 30s. The films I've seen from 1930-33 are superior to his later output. Not that these are all-time-great comedies. But at least the earlier ones feels somewhat inspired. Here he wins at betting and suffers the consequences of that with plenty of good obvious jokes to back that up.
