The Land Before Time IV: Journey Through the Mists

Probably the least memorable of the original run of the Land Before Time series, Journey Through the Mists is still a cute watch for kiddos. The music remains pretty terrible though, as Universal at the time was surely trying to stay relevant alongside the Disney Renaissaince while boasting only a fraction of the chops. Also, I think this film is meant to have a message preaching the importance of diversity, but it never fully commits.

I didn't even like the sequels when I was a child, though before watching them I had high expectations . After that every time they announce them on TV it was like: "Yes! The Land Before Time! Wait... oh... it's not the first one...". I think I tried until V but I'm not sure, but anyway, the quality was already too low in the II so it's not even they were worse every time, they went straight to the bottom since the very first sequel.

How do the sharpteeth survive if we never see them eat anybody? I wonder what Freudian analysis can be applied to the fact that Littlefoot's romantic interest is just himself with eyelashes (beyond the obvious lazy, lazy character design).

Holy shit there were so many of these and I saw nearly all of them.

Just giving all the sequels the same score. I mean they're no good but I could probably still sit through them.
