Worst Spandau Ballet video ever...

This could have been a good movie. The leads were fine, all of the death scenes were terrible.

Interesting enough- tells a story, but the acting is over the top and quite unconvincing.

Passes the time.

Setting aside that this is based on fact, it is still a poor-man's "Boondock Saints" (and "Brothers McMullen" for that matter.) That is, it's the same basic story, just not told as well. There are huge gaps in the storyline, such as how you never see the brothers being violent as kids; until they box each other there's no sense of the psychopathy so prevalent later. It's also never clear, even at the end, how involved their mother was in their activities. It just leaves the viewer wanting.

There was just something missing...it didn't seem to go deep enough into the actual events that they were known for...

Interesting, but not absorbing. The London atmosphere is nice, but the two leads don't do much with the personalities of the twins.

Lots of really cool dynamics going on here. The scenes with Steven Berkoff are a hoot.

Rubbish from start to finish. The acting is simply appalling from everybody. The tormented monologue followed by the death bed scene was a particular low point for me.

The acting of the two leads let this down, Spandau Ballet? Come on! One word sums this film up: REGGIEEE!!!!

Made with the cooperation of its real-life protagonists, it stays within a gangster milieu and comes close to glamorizing them both.

Two members of 80's synth pop crooners Spandau Ballet play the title brothers. Who the fuck knew they could act??? I sure as shit didn't and they're GREAT!

Far less engaging than you would think, given cast, director, et al.
