Very competently made, with good cinematography, acting, writing, and so on. The problem is that the story gives off the appearance that it's building up to something, and then it just fizzles out and ends up being nothing more than a rather mundane, if realistic, slice of high school life. Could be that it was just my expectations that betrayed me, though.
