According to the DVD case, the title of the movie is "Dolph Lundgren is the Killing Machine", lol. Lundgren plays an ex-KGB officer working as a hitman for the Russian mob in Vancouver, who...zzzzzzzzzzzzz. Low budget, no frills actioner that never strays an inch from the well worn path of many similar flicks. Dolph displays none of his well documented comic ability, playing the role as an emotionless automaton, and every action sequence is of the "shot too close/edited in a blender" variety.

Close to decent, considering the small budget, the bad acting and the weak story.

The Killing Machine as film title alone is the worst possible start. Overseas I believe it is titled 'Icarus'. Which sounds much cooler. Then again, regardless of the title, it's still a stupid film. It's paint by numbers stuff and nothing we haven't all ready seen a million times before. Usually you can forgive Dolph for his huge array of bad action films, because he adds humour that's so bad it's entertaining. But here he takes his role and the tone of the film way too seriously.
