The Killer Is One of 13

Closer to Agatha Christie or "Gosford Park" than traditional gialli; it spends an hour mostly talking and introducing the characters which is actually quite refreshing. It does pick up the pace towards the end and there is some gore, but nothing too graphic. Cast is interesting and filled with familiar genre names like Andreu, Naschy. Location is also nice, but the film is rather dull visually. Might interest people who usually avoid the genre, but they might be let down by the reveal/script.

As some others have stated this plays out like a low rent Agatha Christie knock off. The set up is good but things take too long to get going. When the acting and camerawork are this bad the kills have to be damn good to make up for it however the kills were merely okay and the ending felt rushed and unsatisfying.
