Once again Paula ape woman is brought back to life, this time by a mad doctor and his disfigured assistant, who also kidnaps a nurse in order to have a female blood donor. By this time, Paula's been brain damaged by experiences in the last film, so there's not much for her to do except wander around. (imdb)

This is really monster face Rondo Hatton's movie. Having finally gotten a break with a small creepy role in the Sherlock Holmes movie The Pearl of Death (1945), he becomes the entire focus of The Jungle Captive (1945). Him and that goofy ape lady. While I liked that, this wasn't a particularly good horror. Let's just say they lacked polish in just about every aspect of this production.
