The Jaws of Death

This was rather interesting. Story wise it's nothing special - a (shark loving) loner is pushed too far and takes revenge. What makes this one raise above the average are the heavy Florida / regional vibes (as you'd expect from a William Grefe) film, underwater cinematography and dangerous stunts with real sharks. Jaeckel is also a good fit for the role. There's also a supernatural element that doesn't really add anything to the film - apart from making it more bonkers.

I've seen quite a few shark movies and as far as they go, this one has a pretty unique idea. A guy who can communicate with sharks goes around getting revenge on people who have wronged either him or the sharks, often using the animals as his method of gaining payback. It's just horribly paced and boring. The acting leaves a lot to be desired, as well, but I'll give it points for the original idea and the pretty nice shark footage. That soundtrack is jarring... and not in a good way.
