The Island President

I thought this was a great documentary with a sad ending (sorry for the spoiler.) Good enough that I've rented it twice - it was worth the re-watch. Pretty straightforward way to explain the real impact of global warming to those who refuse to understand.

In principle a doc about national hero Mohamed Nasheed trying to save the Maldives from ever-rising sea levels by politically pushing a carbon-neutral agenda. But as the improbability of that task starts to creep in, the film subtextually turns into an elegy for a soon-to-be lost paradise.

Very interesting and the star of this movie is a rising comic genius
