Richard Todd in his breakthrough year does not do it for me. There was some hints of mystery going on, but it doesn't play-out in memorable way, so a very average thrill.

I was enjoying this a lot more up until the last five minutes. This is a standard but well-acted noir with some really nice camerawork especially during the hallway scene.
