I'll watch anything with "Zombie" or "...of the Dead" in the title. It leads me to a lot of heartache.

So inept that it's funny and compelling. God damn Steckler is ugly, and not in an interesting way

A review, Or, the dialogue critique of Kramer's Portrait: "I sense great vulnerability. A man-child crying out for love. An innocent orphan in the post-modern world." / "I see a parasite. A sexually depraved miscreant who is seeking only to gratify his basest and most immediate urges." / "His struggle is man's struggle. He lifts my spirit." / "He is a loathesome, offensive brute. Yet I can't look away." / "He transcends time and space." / "He sickens me." / "I love it." / "Me too."

Doesn't even come close to living up to the title. Mostly just awful musical numbers.

Another "worst of all time" that's actually not too bad. Jerry's nightmare is like a Kenneth Anger film and there's a whole lot of great moments and shots mixed in here. The problem is the burlesque shows. If you cut those and kept the plot going you'd have a pretty decent little gem. I'm sure you could edit this down to a good 30 minutes and have something more enjoyable. Also, Steckler looks JUST like Nicolas Cage. Seriously a doppelganger.

The mere word "zombies" is what made me hopeful about this movie. I've never been so let down in my life...except for that one time where my parents didn't show up for my Ballet recital.... =/

Featuring a director/star who bears an uncanny resemblance to Reinhard Heydrich (also to the original Nosferatu). And Leslie Gore singing perhaps the most annoying song in world history ("Schick out of Shape"? "Chicago Shake"?--it'll haunt you for days). The only thing that might perhaps be even worse is "Yipes Stripes" from Teenage Strangler.

Rarely have I seen a movie that switches from utter boredom to amazing spectacle so often and in such an erratic manner.

This film seems to have a lot of plot for a film that's 60% dance numbers and songs. It has a reputation for being one of the worst films ever made, but I'm here to tell you that's bullshit. It's cheap and has serious pacing problems, but I kind of like it. It's a really odd mix of rock & roll songs, burlesque numbers and psychedelic horror ... and to hell with anyone who can't appreciate that. When all hell breaks loose in the last 20 minutes, it's massively entertaining.

My favorite MSTK line from this episode was after Jerry says "The world is my college" and one of the MSTK gang then retorts with "And I'm taking it pass/fail."

The title doesn't give away the shocking amount of musical numbers in this by people who end up hitting about 10 different notes at once.

This must be watched through MST3K. It's too painful otherwise. Bad acting, a plot which makes no sense... and way too much footage of a carnival or inane dancing.

B-movie "horror" at its campy best. Musical numbers so pointlessly long and boring that they circle back around to funny again. Just because it's unremittingly horrible doesn't change the fact that it's a truly unique movie, though (I defy anyone to find me another movie that looks -- or sounds -- even remotely like it), and it made for one of the best MST3K episodes of all time, so I'll throw a point at it, and an extra one for the absurd ballsiness of the title.

The title might be more than slightly misleading. 5 points for some catchy tunes and 5 points for hilariously bad choreography.

People are too harsh on this movie (probably thanks to MST3K). There are some agonizing dance and musical numbers but it's still a hoot!

Steckler isn't really that bad of an actor, but goddamn, no one else can act AT ALL and what the hell is with the audio? It gives Manos a run for its money as the worst sound engineered movie ever.

Well, it's not actively unpleasant, but the only interesting thing about it is the title. Very slow, very boring, and very disjointed.

The only redeeming part of this entire film is that, oddly enough, some of the musical numbers are kind of catchy. But let us never speak of this film again, besides.
