Thomassejer gave this a shockingly high score of 70! It's in situations like this I feel like I don't know who he really is... Poor from start to finish. I giggled about five times. Proves that the only ones good at making these sort of films are the americans!

Admittedly the plot falls into way too many contrivances, with every female character being less than 1 dimension and the ending being totally abysmal BUT there is some good there. Although the enjoyment is probably exclusive to people who have seen the show and enjoyed it. It is relatively funny and does go farther than the show ever did showing depths of friendship between these 4 guys. Just ignore all other aspects of the plot and you should enjoy it.

I enjoyed the series a lot. It could be a little hit and miss, but overall, it's very funny. The movie is pretty much exactly the same. It was predictable and cliché and all that, but it was fun. I had some good chuckles, for sure. It was the same plot I'd seen before in several comedies, but it was great seeing the characters again for possibly the last time.

Not as good as any given episode of the series, but it gives a nice, if overly sentimental, end to the show.

More The Simpsons Movie disappointing than Kevin & Perry Go Large disaster, the Inbetweeners film consistently fails to reach the highs so often achieved by the television series. Goes through the motions with few surprises: the storyline is dull and predictable, and ill-fitting 'serious' scenes fail. Distinct lack of Jay's trademark stories too. Holding back on some gags to get the 15 certification could be blamed for part of the limpness, but it's lazy writing that's the real culprit here.

The Inbetweeners is one of the most rewatchable and successful TV shows in recent years and this film adaption feels like an effortless progression. To the films credit it has the perfect balance of staying true to its roots whilst taking everything up a notch also. Will, Simon, Jay & Neil do what they do best and take their antics and misfortunes to hilarious new levels. Ultimately if you didn't enjoy the TV show then you'll hate this film, but for all Inbetweeners fans out there it's a blast.

I found this embarrassingly bad. I felt ashamed when I saw this en there was literally not a single joke or gag that surprised you or had a creative touch. This was just utter nonsense. The end was somewhat ok, but didn't really offer anything extra.

Though I enjoyed the sitcom somewhat, this film is a boring movie that's been done a thousand times. They clearly totally misunderstood why the sitcom worked, and, as a result, this film is horribly paced with spastic tone and nonsensically motivated characters.

Daft way to spend 90 minutes, but not the worst way. I have never seen the series, so this was a stand alone film for me, and it started out slowly, so was wondering what all the fuss was about, but it eventually got going and although totally predictable, it had some decent laughs, and it had a heart. In the end, justice was done, the bad guys got their comeuppance and the good guys got their girls, what more could you ask for? .. well, some more laughs perhaps, but that's a minor gripe!

It is a bit of a glorified TV episode. Granted there are some pretty good gags, but as a movie, it falls flat in too many areas.

Not bad but not good. I can't decide. Either way, if you enjoyed the BBC show then you'll find this to be funny and have lots of gags. Others will see it differently. Rather or not you've seen the show, the final payoff is a good climax to the story. Actually kinda heartfelt at the climax. That being said, I liked it.

It's just as the series, but of course then again, it's not. So, if you like the series, but thought they lacked closure, you'll be happy. If you thought they were best, when they got most embarassing, you'll be disappointed. To my taste, it has too much Ibiza, not enough Mark Donovan.

A natural progression from the increasingly repetitive gags of the TV show, minus much of the pathos (and instead replaced with a bizarre series of tonal shifts which make the film look like it can't decide what is and isn't supposed to be a funny moment) and very poor pacing. A series of sketches, each one less entertaining, until the end - where the credits montage becomes funnier than the rest of the film by a mile. This could have been a great 20 minutes, but the material is stretched thin.

If you've not seen the TV show this is likely to be an irritating and pointless experience! But as someone who by-and-large enjoyed the series, this was overall a lot of fun. It's obviously not actually a good movie, but "The Inbetweeners" has always been worth it if nothing else for the brilliance of "Jay" as a comic character. It's struggles through it's runtime a bit, and is very uneven, but anyone who got any laughs from the series will find themselves having a giggle at this.

This 'Lads on Tour' film basically plays out like an extended episode of the TV series - for good and for bad. As such, the story - although more solid than those of the shorter TV episodes - is predictable and still quite weak. There are still plenty of laughs to be had, though, and I don't think I've laughed as hard at the TV show.

Modest, occasionally charming teen-sex comedy from the UK which too often attempts, disturbingly, to imitate its silliest American counterparts. I didn't really pay too close attention, to be honest.

Wonderful adaptation of the fantastic TV show, with nothing lost in the likeable and relatable characters, nor the great spot-on performances by all, nor the painful (but unforced) awkward moments, nor the feeling of wanting to be cool and appearing hugely out-of-place trying to accomplish it. A suitable ending to this portrayal of teenagers that doesn't exaggerate their zany antics or marginalise their nerd-isms. UPDATE: Amusing, but sadly vastly inferior to show

Its far from perfect as the editing/pacing are a little off, some story elements are just forgotten and it seems like the production was quite rushed. The tv show is exceptional and this tries its best to recapture the magic which it mostly succeeds in doing. What it does do well though is make you laugh. And laugh again. At its heart its a great story of friendship knee deep in clunge that is a fitting end to an exceptional tv series.
