The Immaculate Room

I like the concept but unfortunately with characters that feel a bit like they're being written as the movie is playing out I ultimately checked out. There are some interesting turns as our understanding of the room, the challenge and the couple are developed. The reveals feel too much like reveals though with the story adjusting to the new information rather than the characters feeling fully developed all along. I guess what I'm saying is I almost pressed the red quit button before the end.

This could be very good psycological film but unfortunately wasted.

I may be harsh here as there are elements I enjoyed more than most 4/10 level films. That said, I really went in wanting to fall in love w this as I'm a fan of single setting productions, but this fell flat more often than not. The acting was good, but Mr. Dewil created a work here asking the viewer to be okay with an underwhelming and mostly boring piece of art. As a former monk I'm sure this was sensory overload compared to much of what he's experienced, but it just didn't get there for me.4.0
