The Hucksters

Decent with a fun cast. Everyone is good, with Wynn especially memorable as an annoying comic.

Clark Gable back on track after his service during the war, Deborah Kerr comes to Hollywood for the first time, Ava Gardner finally showing her appeal and Sydney Greenstreet as table spitting soap magnet. That's the things that had me liking The Hucksters (1947). That, and not really the success novel it all was built on. That aspect was mediocre.
