The House of Seven Corpses

The opening credits are great, we see seven different people become corpses. It’s missing about 993 to be mildly interesting.

This may be the worst movie I can recall seeing. It feels pasted together, constructed of Post-It notes and duct tape, in that scenes are incoherent, the overall plot seems to be bullet-pointed and then never filled in, and actors frequently look like they have no idea what they should be doing. Good for an afternoon nap.

Meta flick where not much of interest occurs until the finale act.

I guess I liked this most than most others people but anyway. It's a bit too slow for its own good but its still pretty fun. I'm a sucker for movies within movies stories. the final 15 or so minutes were pretty fun.

A meta-horror (a film crew accidentally conjures the dead while making a film about conjuring the dead), with an almost whimsical tone that has no place for little things like facts. There is an inherent charm that comes from the stupidity of reading Latin chants from a Tibetan Book of the Dead. Unique for its meta vibe - a cheapo programming precursor to stuff like Cabin in the Woods.
