A Jewish-American comedy! This is more a stage play then a movie, but that works because of the broad stereotypes and situations one associate with Jews. And yes, 90% of the jokes is about money! And the stereotypes are what makes the personalities beautiful. They are clear characters. And to laugh about peoples ways in this manner has an innocence. Here they take shots at all the ghetto snobbery, scheming, petty borrowing and the difference of second and first generation Jewish-Americans.
