Couldn't even finish it. This movie really makes you appreciate good horrors! Not scary, not interesting and all over the place. I can't blame the actors, they were actually doing a decent job. Just horrible otherwise.

A better sequel to The Mummy than the actual sequel to The Mummy was.

As a "sister film", we shouldn't EXPECT much difference from the first flick (and to be fair, I have little recollection of the first, other than thinking it was jumpy but pedestrian). But y'know, this was pretty okay. I like this family more than I liked the first one's family. It's still kinda jump-scare dependent (though the jumps were better this go-round!), but it does a much better job of being creepy versus just jumpy, and it has a better story. Creepy woods trumps creepy house any day.

Actually substantially better than its abysmal predecessor-in-name-only, Ghosts of Georgia is like someone turned a Shivers book into a horror movie for adults. Your tolerance for the film will probably tally up with your interest in such a project. Well-acted, kinda disarming at times, even if it is all ultimately stupid. Oh, and yeah.. there is no Connecticut here. Sorry, CT fans.

For this movie not having anything to do with the first installment and taking place in Georgia and not in Connecticut it was pretty good. Chad Michael Murray, Abigail Spencer and Katee Sackhoff all did pretty well. The little girl was a little too much like the kid on The Sixth Sense as all she did throughout the movie was "See Dead People, All the Time". There were only a few jump scares but they were good ones. I loved the connection to the underground railroad.

Much better than expected, good atmosphere, decent story, doesnt rely too much on jump scares.
