The Great White Trail

The Great White Trail (1917) is overly long with it's 110 minutes of ordinary melodrama and dash of snow. Alright at times, though it's a story which could have been told better, but also a lot worse, so it travels a middle road. It was easily best when out in Alaska and The Great White Trail. Out there it feels a little more adventurous. So solid without becoming anything essential as far as silents goes.
