The 3rd version of The Great Impersonation (1942) is not as spooky as the 1935 version (the original 1921 adaptation is probable lost...?), but transforming this lookalike story to the Nazi era does make it more contemporary for the '42 audience. Ralph Bellamy is not as exciting as Edmund Lowe either, but Bellamy's clam take on the story wasn't bad. The script was perhaps a little under-handled, but... alright. Its a passable B-movie anyway.
