A cute movie that never offers any real bangs, but has enough of a heart to keep you feeling good right up until the ending credits. Emily Blunt is beautiful as always, Malkovich plays the Malkovich of old, and even Colin Hanks's face isn't as annoying as usual.

Malkovich is outstanding but his talent higlights the mediocrity of everything surrounding him. The 'main' character (Tom Hank's charmless son in an embarrassingly nepotistic turn) does little more than wander along aimlessly, taking away screentime from the man whose name is in the title.

A charming movie, Howard is a proud, great man and the story is an interesting and entertaining one. There are plenty of big names all playing their part fittingly and well. It's too light-hearted to be truly amazing, but it does end up being a nice flick.

Effective small-scale with good acting all round.

Colin Hanks is trying to prove that he can do things on his own. God Bless Him.

This is a great example of a light drama. Sean McGinly pulls off an impressive balancing act as the director. He manages to give this film an endearing quality that never once spilled over into cheesy schmaltz. The laughs are almost nonexistent, but none the less, a smile was fixed to my face during nearly the entire duration of the film. The cast is also delightfully wonderful. The movie may not have a long lasting impact on me but for the time being it did help to extend my good mood.

John Malkovich is great in the title role and Colin Hanks is also good. I really enjoyed this film. I did not realize that the movie was based on a real person before hand. The story is an interesting showbiz tale.

I liked this movie quite a bit. Malkovich brings it as always and is truly a treat to watch. It's not the best movie but it truly kept me entertained throughout with an amusing and fun plot.
