As a practical joke Robert Armstrong pretends to put on a stage show and star Irene Hervey in it. But the joke becomes serious when the people joining it quits their jobs and hopes the show will be a success... which is not what was intended. A sentimental comedy. Sweet in it's way with the old washed-up actors dreaming of one more chance and Armstrong feeling bad about it all. They throw in a bunch of song numbers too. Not a major film, but has it's nice moments.
