Out of The Egg and I (1947) comes a Ma and Pa Kettle (1949) spin-off with a total of 9 films with the combo of Marjorie Main & Percy Kilbride playing the parts in most of them. And it's a happy hillbilly type sitcom-ish formula with the Kettles moving up in society winning a new house with all the modern conveniences at their disposal, and naturally they mess it up in true Kettle style. I had a good time with it.
