Very overlooked comedy with an abundance of intelligence and satirical humor. If you can't appreciate Brando returning to his Godfather role for good fun then I don't know what you can.

Brando doing a send up of his Godfather character while Matthew Broderick stands around looking scared and/or confused. Instantly forgettable comedy.

It's a cute movie with Broderick in his usual role, and Brando in a Godfather send up.

Not a great comedy but what the film had to say was touching. It was nice to see a softened version of Don Corleone too. Really nice movie, time well spent.

Viewed November 28, 2020. Movie 3700. The early scenes where Broderick is introduced to two equally bizarre worlds — that of the Mafia and Tisch School of the Arts — are the film's best.

As far as I can recall, I've only seen this film once and that was 20+ years ago so my memory is a bit hazy. But I do vividly recall the Komodo Dragon. Looking back on it now, it's a better and earlier version of 'In The Soup' (with obvious differences, of course).

Kinda small time story with a good performance from fat Brando. Also features a lapdog Broderick, young BD Wong, and magnetic but unnecessary Miller. The professor was a jerk and exactly what I assume film professors to be like. Fav scene: trying to seatbelt the lizard.

Marlon Brando does a nice send-up of his Godfather role. Matthew Broderick is also good in this film. There are a number of funny moments spread out through the movie.

One of the funnier Matthew Broderick movies since Ferris. Brando is the bomb in this. Totally pokes fun at himself as Vito. Bruno Kirby is a bit under rated in this one.

Just frigging terrible. Not funny, annoying, and, to top it off, blatant usage of a stunt lizard (I am not making this up)

Brando recycles his Godfather role for this one. A bit predictable, but Broderick is humorous and the story is sort of compelling.

Brando's role here is priceless as an over the top version of Don Corleone. With the addition of Brodrick you have a wonderful farce. And the Iguana should have been awarded an Oscar for its performance! Okay, well maybe not, but it is a good film.
