If I reviewed this a few days after seeing it, I would be a little less emotionally involved, and rate it slightly lower. Sure, its manipulative, but to someone lucky enough not to have to go through life weighing up whether to have leave my birth country, and who experiences this only through a TV set, this is a brilliant reminder of how it is actually PEOPLE that are involved. Sure I know Wendys' personal heartache first hand, but it is nothing in comparison. A first rate highly emotional film
