I'll admit I enjoyed it a little bit more than the third movie; Final Destination 3 was just boring, this was more like a glorious train wreck unfolding before your eyes. Hilariously stupid 3D gimmicks abound, and the entire cast looks (and acts) like some confused Abercrombie & Fitch models wandered out of their pen.

Not only does The Final Destination (3D) have a lot of spectacularly hilarious and ironic deaths but they are in hilarious and ironic 3D, making them all the more spectacular. And hilarious. The plot is shit, the acting is shit (were there even actors?), it lies somewhere marginally above the 3rd film in overall quality but the memorability of some of the deaths made it for me a worthwhile, if unforgivably bad flick.

This movie was definitely fun in 3D. However, it doesn't bring much to the table. One thing About the final destination series that I enjoy and hate at the same time is that the opening sequence is always the best part of the movie. On one hand it is awesome to see the crazy action and gore right out the gate but on the other hand once that scene is over you realize that the rest of the flick is going to be relatively boring. Watch this movie in the theaters on a date for some fun.

No films have aged as poorly as the late-00s/early-10s 3D era. I loved the first three films, but this feels lazy. It has a character named "Racist", and he drops the n-bomb, because the audience needs to know who to root against.

I've enjoyed all of the other Final Destination movies at least a bit, but this one was just awful. The dialog and acting was horrible. The premonitions were so choppy and added no suspense, and the characters were so unlikable or bland I couldn't care less who died or how in the least bit. There is no sense of the characters having a plan or anything so it just becomes a series of mildly connected deaths.

Top badass moment? Seeing with my own eyes that America is a health & safety nightmare. Oh my goodness, the entire place is a death trap; haven't they heard of risk assessments? Fortunately this is a movie that you watch purely for the kills; try watching it for any sort of character development and you'll become its next victim, from sensory deprivation. They are... dull. The deaths however, are great. 1 (and two halves - it’s kind of complicated) decapitations, no cats or chainsaws.

It's got some great kill scenes, but the movie only exists as a vehicle to move from kill scene to kill scene. It's just the same plot as the previous three movies. I would say something about insulting the intelligence of the movie going public, but I've misplaced my soapbox.

The final installment proves to easily be the worst and most predictable. The images and clues looked silly, the deaths so over the top, the blood didnt look real. My advice if you want to do gore, make it look remotely real. I saw this film in 2-D but I highly doubt it would have been a masterpiece in 3-D. Pointless all around, horrible horror flick. I was up until almost 2 am and usually I like the late night flicks I watch, well not this one. Cannot think of one thing I liked from this film.

It's nothing new, some death scenes were pretty nasty and since I watched it in 2D, I can't even say the 3D made anything better (although I actually don't enjoy 3D alot, so chances are slim anyways). The plot actually already got boring around Final Destination 2, so no surprises here...

Caught this one at the drive-in, so there was sadly no 3D. Which means the movie was just a mess. The highlights were definitely the strangely recurrent and casual racism, the scene cribbed straight from one of Palahniuk's short stories, the ridiculously predictable ending, and the positively abysmal digital effects. And once again, why is it that people in these movies are so damned reluctant to believe that yes, they ARE still in danger?

This is probably the worst of the franchise, especially with its egregious focus on including 3D effects, but I gotta say that if you HAVE to do that then resolving everything in a showdown where cinema-goers are being brutally killed by objects flying at them through the screen is absolutely the right way to do it.

The Final Destination series was never all that good, but holy shit is this one so much worse than the previous three. It has the worst cast, the worst music, the worst cinematography, the worst editing, and a little kid's cartoonish idea of how racism manifests in the world. The Final Destination series found a curious, albeit gimmick laden, way to kill plenty of good looking young people without relying solely on the traditional slasher formula of a masked and/or maniacal killer, but novelty quickly gave way to boredom and routine as the series continued and became sillier due to the emphasis on outrageous deaths at the expense of all else. In short, it ran its early potential into the ground, and this installment is the worst of the lot, which is no mean feat.

The Final Destination furthers the decline of the series by continuing to toss out what made the first two movies good: The methodical nature of death. Death doesn't do what it does for vengeance, no, it does so because it needs to rectify a mistake. Death is sloppy here, and the teens are even dumber than before. The CG is even more egregious than in 3 and the acting is really damn bad at times.

For a huge horror buff, and huge fan of the franchise to say this is mediocre at best, you know it's bad. The Final Destination is the fourth film in the series but it's the one and only addition that I bothered to watch. Following the success of Avatar in the 3D, this was one of the first of many money grabbing, post conversion 3D cinema releases. What a complete waste of time and money. I love suspenseful and jumpy horror films, but pointless gore does nothing for me. And this film is purely one pointless gorey death after another. Hence I'm not bothering to watch the wrest of the series.

The Final Destination is a terrible film, and a pretty bad Final Destination movie. It needed to do one thing right: Give us fun death sequences. The premise is there almost solely so that you don't need a real reason to kill a bunch of people. But this film even manages to mess that premise up, basically showing us the deaths before they occur. There's no tension, no horror, and no fun. It's not even that enjoyable watching unlikable people die this time around; it's just boring.

What is there to say about the Final Destination franchise? You know what happens in every sequel story-wise; the only thing on which to judge entries in this series is the originality of the death scenes. I felt the death scenes in The Final Destination were not very creative. It seemed like most of them involved projectiles flying into the characters to kill them. Unless you're a completionist like myself, I wouldn't waste my time on this one.

Though the twenty-four hours since my viewing of this movie has tempered my scorn for it, this movie is still undeniably awful. It's essentially a slasher series whose writers thought it would be a good idea to erase the antagonist and only leave behind the kills, consequently this also eliminated all personality and most entertainment. What's left is some partially satisfying gore and actors whose hiring simply defies explanation.

Goofy third sequel in the Final Destination series and an OK way to waste an afternoon. Initially released in 3D, it would be useless seeing it in two dimensions. The film's limited appeal is in having chunks of meat sliding directly at you. Highlights include Krista Allen as a "MILF", a cross-burning gone awry, and a climax in a movie theater showing a 3D movie.

This movie tries real hard to be Part 2 and just comes across as a poor imitation. All twists/reactions to being hunted down by death are derivative of everything done in the previous instalments, which is made painfully obvious with the x-ray skeleton slayings that end up the most enjoyable part of the film. It's attempts at dark humor fall flat and come off as cheesy in the wrong way. Features infuriating characters that actively and literally fight against self preservation. Forgettable.

To the chain of chain-reaction predestined deaths -- fourth installment in the series, even numbers directed by David R. A lot of gore, and a little waiting, in barely an hour and a quarter.

The Final Destination is worth watching in 3D. The 2D version seems pointless in comparison. The Final Destination feels like it has to be seen in 3D. A lot of the special FX in the film are designed specifically to utilize the 3D format. I would have rated The Final Destination less if I saw it in 2D. Being a forth entry in a horror franchise that has been growing increasingly stale, 3D appears to have rejuvenated the series to some extent. The movie is far from great but it's fun to watch whil

I think this movie contains the pinnacle of American over-sensitivity to racism. There is a guy who threatens to kill a black man in a group of people and everyone just calmly reacts and understands he was upset over his wife's death, but as soon as he says the "N word" everyone goes nuts and they throw him off the premises. So let me review threatening to kill black guys is not too bad a thing to do, but calling them racist names is absolutely despicable. Got it.
