The Fighter

Boxing revolution. I mean Boxing and revolution, as a man wants to finance his revenge through winning boxing matches. It was something Jack London wrote. Not one of London's greatest works, but funnily enough, this got both Soviet and German remakes. Richard Conte is good. So was Lee J. Cobb, the little he was in it. But this is the sort of film that dies because of its writing. It's just too ridiculous to take serious, and the films manages to take itself super serious.
