The Fat Man

I'm almost disappointed that William Conrad didn't play the title character, but J. Scott Smart was charming as hell as The Fat Man investigator. He'd been doing the character on radio at the time, but it didn't go any further than 1951, neither on radio or on the big screen. I wouldn't have minded seeing this turn-out to be a series, for I enjoyed this. Casual snooping and a different kind of role for Rock Hudson.
