For me The Falcon's Alibi (1946) was the best Tom Conway Falcon entry. So enjoyable, topped by a fine psychopathic performance from Elisha Cook Jr.. Might not be the deepest of mysteries, but the overall presentation made for a entertaining hour.

An unmemorable Falcon mystery.

You never expect much character development in a film like this, so it's testament to Elisha Cook's acting that he manages to play a fairly one-dimensional villain, but still come across as sinister, intense and sympathetic at the same time. Jane Greer was also good. The rest is typically humdrum with a lot of superfluous characters and misguided attempts at comedy.
