Mary Miles Minter is easily the personality behind The Eyes of Julia Deep (1918), but she is a level or two below Mary Pickford, who she clearly wants to be. Fairly ordinary affair which doesn't help seal Minter's legacy as the star she was or could have been before her scandal hit. Too few films exists and none essential.
