The Eroticist

(Viewed on 14/12/13): Before Fulci became a horror icon, he dabbled in various different genres, often to questionable effect. The Eroticist, one of his better non-horror efforts, is a cheeky political farce about a senator whose compulsion to grab women's arses (which he is largely unaware of) lands him in hot water. It was made for the Italian market, so much of the humour is lost on foreigners, but it's an amusing romp that pokes fun at the phallocentric nature of Italian political life.
