The Dude Ranger

Refreshing from Fox since the other big studios rarely produced any westerns during this period this was a pleasant experience compared to the cheap poverty row westerns that flooded the market. Don't get me wrong. This is a fairly cheap and simple western too, but made with much more care for the art of movie making letting the characters run the story and not the guns & horses. This was about the acting, the sweet and human moments with George O'Brien and Irene Hervey shining through.
