A solid college drama with Richard Barthelmess in the middle of it all as the goody-good guy. This was a movie where Barthelmess did well. He's not the easiest actor to cast, but this role worked for him. But it helps having a nasty vamp to make the mess. Easy to hate Dorothy Revier here as the girl that destroys his best friend and tries to take him down too. A real bad girl to hiss at. This is a fairly ordinary movie. Very familiar formula, but that doesn't stop it from being a good film.
