Rick Turner (Robert Alda) is a man haunted by a recurring dream in which a beautiful woman in a flowing white gown dances for him. The dream is robbing Rick of his sleep and driving a wedge between him and his fiancée Donna, so he's startled when one day he passes a shop window and sees a doll that looks just like the woman in his dreams. Good psychotronic vibes for a minor B-movie.

There's a genuinely good movie buried in here somewhere, but unfortunately it never quite sees the light of day. After the opening, which plays out a bit like a Twilight Zone episode, everything quickly devolves into B-movie schlock where nothing makes any sense & ideas are clumsily jumbled together. The ending is comically cheesy & gives one of the single most unintentionally hilarious death scenes I've maybe ever seen. It's early-60's camp, but it's fun & short enough to be worth watching.

Makes no sense and lacks meaning.

A pretty good gimmick (the dream-girl thing)--especially since it probably only cost about 12 bucks. I hereby nominate it for the Star Trek Making the Most out of No Budget Trophy (which I dub the Dustie [as in aluminum dust]). Evidently Ariadna could only be persuaded occasionally to seem interested in her surroundings (a phenomenon known to others as "acting"); Hamilton however was excellent. You certainly won't have any trouble remembering the name of their god! (they say it constantly).
