The Devil's Hand

Ever since THE EXORCIST, Catholicism has been the religion of choice for US horror directors looking for a religion to pretend to take seriously, and from which to plunder the idea of monsters and evils. But for insular religious communities with no cell phones, it has to be the Amish. These ones display enough repression, in both senses, to make one sympathetic to the vengeance of the child of Satan, which I assume is at least partly intentional, given the entertaining final moment.
