It’s hard to come up with reviews for these Melie’s shorts. They are all kinda funny, pretty impressive for the time and ground-breaking pieces of cinema, but not much in the plot department

One of Méliès's most popular subjects just starting to take form all the way back in 1897. Not as impressive or polished as his later takes on this theme (notice how the witches' dance comes perilously close to knocking the whole set over at the end(!)), but you can't really fault such a pioneering effort for that.

The colour is a nice touch, but the tricks here don't quite do it for me.
