The Devil Makes Three

Odd choice for Gene Kelly with a sort of post-WW2 espionage road trip of Germany, encountering leftover Nazis. As was often the case when Hollywood took special projects abroad like this, the production feels much looser than it would in the Hollywood studio environment. And that's part of the appeal, even it if also prevents the thrill because of the lack of focus. The snowy landscapes, especially when on wheels, helped give it a unique vibe. I liked it as a semi off-beat suspense film.
