Very kooky and quite British.

I'm more of a fan of Amicus's horror anthology movies, but I do enjoy their B movies as well.

It's genuinely not a bad film, but it's close to the definition of being a mediocre one. Average directing and writing make this an average film for the time, and a mediocre one now, but it's still watchable and has a little bit of old horror movie charm in some ways. Very standard thriller and plot execution, but the contained setting makes things watchable and a little interesting as things play out, though the film would have been much better if we had a lot more interesting conversations.

NOT THE BEES oh wait wrong movie, this isn't a terrible movie simply because it's too entertaining on itself to be terrible, it is bad but in such a fun way, plus a great MST3k episode.

Mst3k: 7/10

A killer bee movie is going to live or die by how the audience sees its killer bees. Here the bees are mostly added in by bad trick photography. Otherwise, pretty Suzanna Leigh and appropriately creepy Frank Finlay can't save this flick from the badly-done bees.

Lousy--but entertainingly lousy.

Terrible.
