For the most part a terribly dull gangsters/press/District Attorney movie. Director Frank R. Strayer didn't do this production any favors. With so many capable actors like H.B. Warner, Ned Sparks, Lew Cody and Evelyn Brent doing okay with what they got, they really made for a slow moving and uninteresting story within the dead low budget studio atmosphere. Ned Sparks really deserved a big bonus for his performance being the main guy keeping this from being a total snooze fest.
