The Crimson Circle

I liked this the most out of the early Krimis. Maybe I’m just getting into the mood, but I thought that this was better paced and shot than e.g. Fellowship of the Frog. There are some neat noir / horror style shots. The plot gets too complicated and doesn’t make much sense, but it didn’t spoil the enjoyment and could actually encourage a re-watch. The lead actors lack the charisma of Fuchsberg, but Renate Ewert brings some needed energy and regulars like Adert and Rasp provide solid support.
