Call it Blade Runner 1962. Very slow and melodramatic, but there are some good ideas here, and the humanoids' design is appropriately unsettling. Would have worked better as an episode of The Twilight Zone.

While the production values suck, the story in Creation of Humanoids is both complex and interesting. Many ideas presented are wonderful grist for later books and movies. As long as you realize that the production values in this flick make the old Dr. Who series look high-tech, you'll probably enjoy it. While it is very slow-paced and only has about 5 separate scenes, the ideas presented are interesting enough to keep your attention.

Lots of good ideas for the time but not very well made. Incredibly exposition-heavy, 90% of the movie consists of 2 or 3 people standing around talking to each other in very still shots. There's a few twists towards the end, but you'll see them coming a mile off.

Surprisingly good for a low-budget 60's flick that's considered a "B" movie. No the sets, costumes, and acting aren't great. But the dialogue is surprisingly deep and the concepts thought-provoking.

Oddly thoughtful, yet relentlessly talky throughout. And the revelation at the end was not terribly surprising.

Far from flawless, but full of fascinating cyberpunk ideas.
