Not so much a western as a Hollywood studio comedy with a cowboy coming to Hollywood to act.... which he can't, yet he wins the heart of the studio's female star. Mildly fun, but very soft, clearly aiming for the female audience with this one. George Montgomery came across handsome, but they should have made him even more rugged to give the humor more of a flare.
