A pretty wild movie with John Gilbert looking like a drugged-up 1970s afro pimp in his Cossack costume! Gilbert starts out as a disgrace in his fathers eyes because he lives for love and not war. Things soon change and Gilbert becomes a ultimate man making Ernest Torrence proud. And he and his on/off girlfriend Renée Adorée are adorable together! This is not one would call a deep movie, but instead lots and lots of fun showing off and having a good time like real men do!
