The Conquest of Canaan (1921) isn't super remarkable, but it's easy to digest and is still a relatable story. Takes on corruption in a small town, where Thomas Meighan stands-up to the wrongdoing, in return gets a bad reputation by of fake news paid for by the bigshot. And we watch as Meighan tries to fight back in a uphill battle. Grew into a likable experience.
