The Confession

The priest's moral dilemma. Henry B. Walthall can't spill the beans without breaking his holy oath. His brother is accused of murder, yet the priest knowns from confession who the real killer is. I found the story good for this type of melodrama, but I also felt they milked the whole thing a bit too much. It's definitely a fine one from Henry B. Walthall's struggling period, when his career was in a slump. So even if the story gets too much, Walthall brings the peace to it all.
