The Comedian

Surprisingly funny, sweet, well developed story about an aging, slightly raunchy comedian and a co-volunteer. Deniro is terrific, and the cameo cast of comedians is absolutely amazing. Worth watching just for that! Very enjoy.

Lots of comedy routines and comical situations with a few laugh out loud moments. Robert De Niro is always a treat. Leslie Mann was awesome, very beautiful and I can't think of anyone I'd rather have a baby with. Good cast. Worth watching.

1557: smart jokes and .... i love the movie!

There are a lot of good actors that are mostly wasted in this film. The script does not really cover any new ground. With all these good actors a better script would have made a more entertaining movie, Overall this film is disappointing.

Probably Deniros best work in years, The Comedian has an edge to it that many films are lacking or just forget to incorporate into their story. Deniro and Mann have perfect chemistry and that definitely is on display during the final act of the film. An enjoyable flick that solidifies Deniro still has chops and I always like seeing that.

good movie

As Jackie Burke in The Comedian, De Niro is playing a pro, an aging comic who long ago made his bones doing stand-up and starring in a hit TV sitcom, Eddie's Home, that fans won't let him forget. De Niro got under the skin of Pupkin. But as Jackie he seems stranded without a guide, unable to sell the insult jokes the script insists he's so good at.
