Juste pour le plaisir des yeux. Henry Cavill qui arbore toujours son sourire de dandy, les beaux muscles et le torse poilu. C'est de la merde sinon.

Pretty bad. Cavill runs away, then runs away more, then feigns getting sick to run away before getting his ass kicked. Okay, so he does fight at one point, but this business consultant manages to outwit rogue CIA agents and the Israeli secret service. There's nothing new with the action in this one. Bizarrely, we never learn what was in the briefcase, and more bizarrely, the ending of the movie hints at a potential sequel, showing how little taste the makes of this film feel moviegoers have.

Henry Cavill's performance and character is terrible and Weaver looks more tired than ever. Pure Euro-trash.

Everything was already said by others. Is this guy goddamn immortal though? It is like they wanted to be more realistic and avoid the "hero escapes explosions unscathed" trope, but forgot how injuries usually have consequences. That guy gets his face smashed in 12 times an hour but still manage to run around all day and all night anyway.

Superficial, uninteresting, predictable. In fact, it is so forgettable that I tried to watch it twice because I forgot about the first time. A waste of big-name actors, really. It almost feels like the headlining ones are there to trick people into watching the movie or nobody would have bothered.

The two best things I can say about this incredibly average action thriller is that the main character is portrayed as an average person and not like an instant hero of a man with a past. Secondly I liked how they used the two big name stars in this film.

ger; [The Cold Light of Day]; auf einer segelreise wird die familie eines jungen mannes gekidnapt, und dann muss er einen mysteriösen koffer suchen welchen die CIA hat.; (gute schauspieler, obwohl actionlastig eine langweilige umsetzung der story);

Every plot point character, scene, line, shot and cut is rife with "been there done that". The dialogue is orchestrated to make even the good actors in this look like horrible hacks. Poor echegui is the only one trying but she's sadly unaware that this is not her big Hollywood break...such a chore of a ugly by the numbers movie

Big budget thing, with multiple bonus points going to Henry Cavill's biceps.

Kind of amazed that the guy who directed JCVD did this, since this is comprehensively bad, apart from brief flashes of visual inspiration.

Some big names in this film but it really didn't help it out. The story seemed a little over complex and I found myself trying to remember what was going on. The movie focuses on this briefcase that's been stolen but then through the muddy writing you forget who even has it or if they have even revealed that information. Willis was only in this for about 20 minutes, Cavill was good and Weaver was an unbelievable villain. The stunts and some of the camera work were the best reasons to see this.

A ordinary, but decent thriller. It doesn't waste time to get started and it is high paced most of the time. I wonder how they got Willis and Sigourney to be in it, though.

Predictable in all ways except when it's actually supposed to follow the formula.

Despite what the critics say, this movie is actually pretty good. There are some inconsistencies, but that is not unusual in this genre. You can expect a nice classic action movie, with plenty of gun play and chase sequences. In my opinion this movie is extremely underrated. The only thing that really bothered me is the selective use of focus in some of the scenes make it difficult to appreciate the setting in Spain. Overall if I were to give it a thumbs up or down, my thumb would be up.

Terribly shallow 'action' thriller, where the very few unpredictable surprises are all turns for the worst.
