Enjoyable if you're a fan of the Riddick series, though not as good as Pitch Black it's a decent addition to the Riddick canon. I wasn't a fan of the animation style but that's just personal preference.

Animation short from Aeon Flux creator Peter Chung. Nice visuals and good animation.

It has a fitting animation style, the new characters are interesting and maddening at the same time and it adds some depth, and more darkness and grimness, to the already dark and grim universe of Riddick. It suffers from being rushed and poorly paced though, which is a shame as it had the potential to be a really deep and thorough bridge-film between the first and second full-length features. However, nice directing from Chung and Twohy and Matthews really streched their creative muscles here.

For what it was, a 30 minute animation that bridges the gap between two movies, I think Dark Fury was reasonably good. The style may not be to everyone's taste, but it was very well done, with some remarkable visuals here and there. The story was nothing special, but it did its job and it did incorporate an interesting idea for a villain.

Pretty decent surreal animation by Aeon Flux creator Peter Chung. This doesn't really add a whole lot to the Riddick story but it has a decent atmosphere and some really weird mind bending visuals.

Nice trippy intermission between the first and second movie. The animation's great, but the unconventional style might not be to everyone's liking.

Poor. Short anime, supposed to to bridge the story from Pitch Black.

The animation gives good info for the second movie. Although, this Riddick is not good enough as the real one.

I know that this was meant to bridge the gap between Pitch Black and Chronicles of Riddick, and it had to be hard to do that between a good movie and a crappy one, but this movie was pathetic. It was even worse than Chronicles of Riddick.

Great short, very happy to see Peter Chung's still at it. Everything was peachy until about 7min before the end, when the animation/art style changed completely! It made the scene feel disjointed (which I guess was a boon). Even the music was wonderful, done by Machine Head of all bands!
